The deadline for the receipt of nomination forms and supplemental information pertaining to a nominee is Nov 30. ![]() That group includes members of the Order of Constantine, Grand Officers including Grand Trustees and Grand Praetors, presidents of local house corporations, presidents of local alumni chapters and Consuls of local undergraduate chapters. Letters of support should only be sought from Sigma Chi brothers who have personal knowledge of the activities and credentials of a nominee. At least three of the endorsement letters must be from current members of the Order of Constantine. Each nominee is, however, limited to five letters of endorsement that the selection committee will review. The impact of a brother's service to Sigma Chi and the results he has helped to achieve will carry more weight with the Selection Committee than a lengthy list of activities performed. During the review process, members of the selection committee may contact the nominator to discuss/verify the credentials of the nominee and/or to obtain additional information. Members of the Order of Constantine who are familiar with the accomplishments of a nominee may also be invited to participate in the screening process.Įach nominee must receive a minimum of four letters of endorsement (the nomination form plus at least three additional letters of endorsement - i.e., the nomination form will count as an endorsement from the nominator if they did not submit a letter of nomination along with the form).
